A multi-talent of cultures <\/h4>

The new PROFI CUT generation of direct cut headers sets new standards in terms of working width, efficiency and throughputs. The latest upgrade evolved from practical experience as the machines were put through their paces in extensive and challenging harvest situations.
<\/strong><\/p>

With self-propelled forage harvesters becoming ever more powerful, Z\u00dcRN HARVESTING added a number of high-performance features to their PROFI CUT direct cut headers that unleash the huge potential of modern harvesters. The speciality about these upgrades is that they apply not only to the most recent models but also to all PROFI CUT Generation 2 models from model year 2016 onwards \u2013 a policy that ensures that our customers can hold on to their existing direct cut header when they invest in a more powerful forage harvester. <\/p>

Thanks to the rugged design of this header, the driveline could be upgraded with a massive overload clutch and a larger sprocket wheel. Also, stronger, 5mm blades could be fitted to extend the service life. These measures increase the machine\u2019s intake capacity by another 20%. Further options are available to boost the header\u2019s performance in specific conditions. <\/p>

The specialist in dense biomass crops<\/h5>

The PROFI CUT offers field-tested options that ensure consistently high flow rates also when harvesting new types of crops and mixes of energy crops. The new and hydraulic cutting angle control gives operators fingertip control in varying field conditions, for example down crop. <\/p>

For harvesting particularly tall growing crops, the front deflector adjusts hydraulically in height and telescopes 500mm out to the front. This level of flexibility has proved most useful in very tall growing crops such as sorghum millet. Further well-proven options include beefier side knives that effectively cut entangled energy crops. Thanks to the robust frame and the spring-loaded impact protection guard, all components perform equally reliably in harsh conditions. <\/p>

The discs of the new Opti Disc Elite mower bed from Kuhn can be retrofitted with star elements which are particularly effective in feeding bulky material to the auger. In addition, the rotating crop roller (superseding the rigid front deflector) and the auger with special, bolted lugs have proven well in very entangled crops like cup plant. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
