The pneumatic plot fertiliser spreader ZÜRN D55 was developed for precise application of fertilisers in field trials and the sharp-edged treatment of adjacent plots. The ZÜRN D55 is available in different working widths from 9 to 15 m.
The pneumatic distribution allows precision border application to the neighbouring plots. The booms are designed for stability and durability. Hydraulic folding of the booms is available as option.

With the foldable booms and the pneumatic distributing system, neighbouring plots can be treated with high precision. The distribution accuracy stays constantly high – regardless of the fertiliser’s quality and flight characteristics or other outside influences like wind and slopes.
The fertiliser is precisely metered by feeding rollers into the airstream. The default setting of the application rate is simply done by a calibration test while standing still. The user friendly operating terminal makes it easy to enter a reference weight and the application rate. The metering of the feeding rollers is dependent of the driving speed. The application rate can also be controlled by the ground speed signal of the GPS-system.
For our metering and distribution system we are using reliable and proven standard parts from RAUCH (KUHN). Two hydraulic driven cam wheels ensure high-precision metering of fertiliser. The fertiliser is accelerated by the air stream and delivered to the distribution nozzles. Based on precise forced metering dependent on the driving speed, the application rate remains constant at all times even at varying driving speeds
All adjustments like application rate, calibration test, section control (left and rigth) are set on the user friendly operating terminal. The calibration test is only done on the left dosing unit. The user gets guided by the menu during the calibration test.
Additional section control can be activated manually. For each section 2 cam wheels are getting shut off.
