Harvesting and crop care are particularly time-critical operations in arable farming. For example, the contractor or farmer quickly incurs high losses, if the self-propelled harvester comes to a complete stop. Therefore a particularly fast service for spare parts and repairs is important during harvesting. To provide even better and faster after sales service for customers in northern and central Germany, Zürn Harvesting GmbH & Co. KG has created an additional location alongside the centralised spare parts warehouse in Merchingen, Baden-Württemberg.
The local professional partner is LVD Bernard Krone GmbH with its harvesting logistics centre in Upahl, northern Germany. A 24/7 spare parts supply including emergency service is available. Orders placed by 3.30 p.m. are dispatched on the same day. It is also possible to collect parts individually on site at the weekend. The location is ideally situated on the A20 motorway to the east of Lübeck.
Zürn Augmented Mechanic (ZAM) combines human expertise with innovative means of communication. The VR headset enables service engineers to assist customers with troubleshooting.
The TOP CUT COLLECT cuts the seed heads of tall growing weed plants above the canopy of the standing crop and then collects the weed seeds in a hopper. The new-generation of the wed harvester now offers intuitive operation from a touchscreen and multifunction lever.
In order to provide our customers with even faster and more targeted support, sales and after sales service in our division Field Research Technology have been brought together under one management.
